2007 Was a Very Good Year for the Oregon Coast Aquarium
</title>

<description>The last year has been an extraordinary one for the Oregon Coast Aquarium and it applauds the community and some of the area&apos;s non profit organizations with whom it collaborated in 2007. &quot;The Aquarium is a non profit facility itself, and relies on visitor-related revenues, grants, and donations to finance our annual operations,&quot; said Marketing Director, Carrie Lewis.

<title>The Oregon Coast Aquarium Survives Storm With No Casualties
</title>

The news was full of stories about property damage, human tragedy and financial hardship. One thing that was not in the news was the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Coastal communities are familiar with power outages, downed trees, mudslides and high water during storms of this magnitude, so the Aquarium staff makes it a part of their routine to always be prepared.
